This year's annual Fasting Fundraiser - a community wide sponsored fast organised by JIMAS - is in aid of Lighthouse, formerly Ipswich Women's Aid (UK Charity No. 1069296).

Join JIMAS & the Lighthouse team in abstinence for a day! Fast for a day in any way you fancy e.g., don't eat sweets, don't use Facebook, don't smoke or don't be angry! Prizes will be given to most creative fasts, most sponsorship obtained, youngest participant, and those who bring the most guests.

JIMAS pledges £10.00 to Lighthouse for everyone who fasts and attends the event. It can't be any simpler and it is too good not to be true!

All you have to do to take part is to email mail@jimas.org to register how many of you would be attending. Download or contact us for a sponsorship form in case you'd like to raise some more money.

Everyone is warmly welcome so come along with your family and friends. You don't have to fast to attend!
