Holywells
High School in Ipswich was invited by the BBC to run a Family
Robot Day. The aim of the event was to raise the awareness
of robot building as a pastime and to educate people in the
wider community so that they can participate in future robot-building
events, either in the local community or on a national scale.
JIMAS sponsored
the events with a contribution to cover the shortfall in running
the activities both on the 11th of October and 8th of November,
2003.
