Topic: Explanation of Prophetic Traditions with respect to matters of worship
We looked at Abdullah ibn Abdur-Rahman ibn Salih Aali-Bassaam's explanation of Al-Shaykh al-Hafidh Taqi al-Din Abu Muhammad 'Abd al-Ghani ibn 'Abd al-Wahid ibn 'Ali ibn Surur al-Maqdisi's "'Umdatu'l-Ahkam". In this book the author compiled hadiths pertaining to rulings, which were agreed upon by the two Imams, Abu 'Abdullah Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn Ibrahim al-Bukhari and Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj ibn Muslim al-Qushayri al-Naysaburi. The book we studied is "Tayseer-ul-'Allaam sharh 'Umdatu'l-Ahkam". We have completed KITAB AL-TAHARAH, KITAB AS-SALAAH, KITAB AL-ZAKAH and began on KITAB AL-SAWM.
