have named the place, SUFFOLK ORIGO.
Origo means the origin,
or the place of birth of a citizen.
MONDAY to SATURDAY 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Origo is designed as an Internet Cafe with a difference. It
provides a welcoming and satisfying experience for everyone
who visits it. With comfortable and spacious facility for
surfing the Web, there is an excellent choice of quality coffee
and wholesome snacks at extremely reasonable prices. There
is also a good selection of books available to read in the
shop or buy. Intended as a place for the public to build bridges
with various faith communities, it aims to build warmth, understanding
and cohesion among all people in the community and in particular,
promote greater and freer understanding of Islam and Muslims.
A great place for get-togethers, meetings and using time in
a relaxing yet beneficial way, Suffolk Origo is also the place
to drop-in for the contacts made at events and courses mentioned

Examples are an exploration of faith seminar at the
University of Essex, Eid festival at the Suffolk County
Council (Endeavour House), exhibitions at both the Endeavour
House and the Ipswich Museum, dialogue and discussion
with a range of churches, presentation of courses for
the Workers Education Association, sponsorship of events
for Holywells and Copleston schools, and classes for
primary, middle and high schools.
