JIMAS has organised Shaikh Salim al-Amry (U.A.E.) to deliver the khutbah (sermon) and then deliver talks on Islam in Ipswich in 2009.

The sermon and talks will be in English.

The khutbah in English will be on REPENTANCE. This special Friday prayers at Ipswich Origo community centre is only open to brothers due to lack of space.

The talks will start after Jumu'ah around 2.00 p.m. insha`Allah. They are open to both brothers and sisters.

The talks will seek to include the following topics:

1. Brotherhood O brothers!

2. Ten reasons entitling one to Allah's Love

3. The way to people's hearts

We had offered Ipswich Mosque at Bond Street to host the event but unfortunately they could not. We did not get any response from them about making the Bangladeshi Community Centre available to us on hire.
